In this intimate 3-day workshop we will focus on the teachings and learnings of vaudevillian Joe ‘Buck and Wing’ Stirling, through study of his choreography Satin Doll. Josh’s 3-year apprenticeship with Joe offered profound insights into the basics of Soft Shoe and Buck and Wing tap dance styles. The understanding of these early tap dance styles offers profound technical and musical awareness for any student or professional curious about the historical development of tap dance.
